Costs:
$495.00 per hour dual.
Consistently students take between 4 and 9 hours depending on their currency and proficiency. We do not offer a package price because of the amount of variance between students.
Examiners fee:
The DPE (Designated Pilot Examiner) Fee is between $300 and $450 depending on the rating.
We offer two types of ratings: Commercial and ATP.
We can also do initial ATP ratings but the student should expect to fly significantly more than the 4 to 9 hours. The ATP rating requires the addition of instrument procedures to the syllabus.
Prerequisites The student must first complete the ASES rating (Aircraft Single Engine Sea) before starting the AMES (Aircraft Multi Engine Sea). This is not a requirement enforced by the FAA but is our school requirement. It's best for you to have a working knowledge of seaplanes before adding the complexity of a Multi.
